Producer: Vignobles Mouty

The Mouty family has started to produce wines in 1923 at the Château du Barry. The founder’s grandson, Daniel, and his wife, took the lead of the family vineyards in 1973, adding through the years other properties from some of the greatest terroirs of Bordeaux: Saint-Emilion and Pomerol.
Strong with now four properties, the Vignobles Daniel Mouty company remains a family business as the son and daughter, Sabine and Bertrand, recently joined the administration.
Together, they propose wines with a great respect of men and terroirs, they are currently converting all their activities to organic viticulture standards, and using modern ideas to renew the vinification process for a ‘wow effect’ guaranteed on every wine.
Fun fact, they are now proposing a 100% Chardonnay from Bordeaux!
